We met New Year's Eve night after being asked out by mutual friends to get together at the VFW to watch the Vikings vs Packers game. Eventually it was just us two at the table, enjoying Captain Morgan's and Coke, while we had lots of fun laughing and creating goofy life stories about different people we watched in the bar that night.

Shortly after meeting we both knew our lives could not go on without each other. He would frequently stay over at my house and then wake up early to drive 45 min. to work everyday. If that ain't a a sweet expression of love. Within a few weeks I let slip one night the big "I love you". He questioned if he heard it right, but then said it right back. A weekend later we went ice fishing together. We ended up at his home to warm up as our furnace quit working in the ice house. After that I began to stay nightly at his house. He asked me a few times to "move in with him", as I basically already lived there, but after dodging the question a few times, I finally did say yes.

The night you proposed was PERFECT! You took me out for supper and a bonus ice cream treat, then we got to go to the farm and watch the stars. Which as you know is my favorite thing to do! Everything from that night was amazing, from you asking me to marry you, to even the smallest of details. We got to watch the stars from the back of your pickup, which you know I love. We were cuddled under your racing blanket, which we both know our love of racing. We were even wearing the Carhartt sweatshirts that we both bought for each other. You were wearing your favorite hat, which fits out lifestyle so very well. And lastly, I got to wear the ring of my dreams that you worked so hard to buy and get for me.  Nothing about that night will ever be lost in my memory. I will forever cherish and think about that night until I can no longer walk this earth.

Since engagement we have been keeping busy dirt track racing, bow hunting, and going on adventures creating memories.

In March we got to meet our amazing baby boy. Life has been an adjustment since, but has been wonderful.
